Jamaica is known for many things, music, movies, festivals and celebrations. You may travel far and wide, but there is no place like Jamaica. When you visit Jamaica, you can do several things: go on an adventure tour, visit the beaches, take a cruise, go fishing, become a true islander and learn about the history and culture, horseback riding (equestrian centre), shopping and entertainment, visit waterfalls and water parks.
If you are a thrill seeker, why not go on a journey around the Jamaican foot lands. You have the choice of bungee-trampolining, go down the rugged terrain of the tropical rainforest by foot or with a mountain bike.
Or why not, take a short boat ride, this will be a nice way to cool off. Once you have taken in the site of the crystal waters why not go for a swim, jump in and take life easy, just as the islanders do.
Why not go horse back riding, where the “Taino” Indians once hunted for food. This is a great opportunity to learn about food and the Jamaican way of life.
If you are not a get-up-and-go individual why not indulge in some retail therapy, there is a host of art and craft galleries showcasing woodwork. The woodwork comes in the form of souvenirs, masks etc. Once you are spent from all of the above, why not buy an alcoholic beverage from a distillery that is local of course.
As you can see, there is so much to do in Jamaica, but there may not be enough time to do it in.
