Notting Hill Carnival is back for 2014 on Sunday August 24 and Monday August 25. Europe’s biggest street festival notorious for its exotic outfits, banging music and robust Caribbean food and liquor makes it THE place to be this long weekend!

Thousands of people will gather in London’s Notting Hill to spectate and experience the best entertainment, food and party of August. Since 1964 the capital’s Afro-Caribbean communities have celebrated their culture and traditions with a two-day festival of fantastic live music ranging from reggae to dub to salsa, soca floats, steel bands, uplifting beats, jerk chicken and fried plantain food stalls, and much more.

The parade begins at 10am on both Sunday and Monday so be sure to get there early! Head lining performances from the incredible artist Katy B and Chase and Status can be expected. Also joining them to grace the stage this year will be Basement Jaxx, Ms Dynamite, Skream and many more.

Kreol Magazine will be heading down to experience the year’s most highly anticipated London Festival!
